For this project I was tasked to create a workplace studio for the Leeds based charity East Street Arts as part of my BA degree in interior design.

The concept created was titled 'The Lightbox'

​

Inspired by the two most essential resources to an artist, paper and light, the concept represents a living canvas in the form of dynamic layouts, lighting schemes and materiality.

 

Workers are invited to a social environment in which they can meet and work alongside other inspiring artists, make connections and get involved with the art industry. With the aim of reducing loneliness in the freelancer workforce by offering a social working environment.
